Aussie Broadband has won gold at the 2022 Reader’s Digest Quality Service Awards, in the Internet Service Provider category.

The awards recognise companies that deliver outstanding customer service, with data based on independent research, including surveys from a representative sample of 2,500 Australians.

Managing Director Phillip Britt thanked his staff and everyone that voted.

“Customer service is at the heart of everything we do, and our team is crucial to providing a good customer experience. I’d like to thank all of our staff for their ongoing commitment to changing the telco game and delivering excellent customer service to our customers across Australia, and everyone who contributed to this survey.”

Aussie Broadband is a rapidly growing internet service provider – with a reputation for providing high-quality internet and transparent customer service.

The telco was formed in Morwell, Victoria in 2008 and is still dedicated to its local roots. The company has call centres in both regional and metro Victoria, and in 2021, expanded to a third call centre in Perth. It is the fifth largest provider of NBN services today.

“At the heart of Aussie is our values. They live within our business, rather than up on the wall, and we empower our staff to use them every day when interacting with our customers. They are: think big, be awesome, have fun, no bullsh*t, be good to people,” Phil said.

Aussie Broadband places a strong emphasis on building better communities. The company has a community impact program that works with groups to make a difference at both a local and national level. Many of the senior leaders are active volunteers in their spare time.

“2021 was one of the toughest years the industry has faced, so we’re incredibly proud to have been able to support both our customers and community, and continue to provide excellent customer service,” Phil said.

Aussie Broadband has won multiple awards for its excellent customer service including; Australian Service Excellence Awards Customer Service Organisation of the Year (Large Business) in 2020 & 2021, Roy Morgan’s Internet Service Provider of the Year (2020) and Product Review Award for Internet Service Providers in 2022.

Sheron White, Group Retail and Sales Director at Reader’s Digest said having an Australian-based support team means customers are always speaking to a local.

“The Aussie Broadband customer service team resides in Australia, which sets them apart from many other providers.”

“Winning the Quality Service award is a true reflection of the dedication and hard work Aussie Broadband’ s customer service team does to make them stand shoulders above the rest when it comes to quality customer service,” said Sheron.
