Brian Clifton, an industry veteran and data privacy advocate, will assume the role of advisor to the management board to support Piwik PRO in strategic business and product development decisions.

The increased demand for actionable data, a boost in focus on privacy, and a low level of adoption for the latest analytics solution from Google (Google Analytics 4) opened a wide window of opportunity for different digital analytics vendors.

With more than USD$12m (£9.4m) ARR, over 500 enterprise clients, and more than 15k free accounts, Piwik PRO, a privacy-focused customer journey analytics vendor, is one of the leading benefactors of current trends.

The company is making several updates to further increase its positive growth trajectory, from reshuffling its management board to revamping its general strategy and product roadmap. With the strategic support from Brian Clifton, Piwik PRO hopes to further secure its expansion and growth.

Piotr Korzeniowski, CEO at Piwik PRO says marketers and data teams in enterprises are starting to favour Piwik PRO as their go-to solution.

“This creates fantastic growth opportunities. With Brian’s support, we’ll be able to better navigate the future by incorporating his perspective into the product,” Korzeniowski said

With over two decades in data science and digital marketing, Brian Clifton has had a significant impact on the industry. As Google’s first head of web analytics for Europe, he helped launch Google Analytics, the most popular digital analytics solution in the world.

Today, Brian advocates for responsible data use in marketing activities, runs an audit agency for digital analytics and compliance, and has written four books on the subject.

“After thoroughly evaluating their product offering, privacy approach, and operations for the past two years, aligning myself with Piwik PRO is a perfect fit,” said Brian

“As an advisor, I will leverage my experience to provide strategic guidance to the management team. I am excited to play a pivotal role in their future,” he said.

Piwik PRO develops a privacy-first platform, providing an advanced suite of products centered around analytics. The platforms’ vendor-agnostic design ensures seamless integration with all parts of the client’s tech stack.

The company’s client portfolio comprises 500+ brands, including the European Commission, Fitch Ratings, and DKMS.
