The sovereign tech company delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and with roots firmly planted in Australia, blueAPACHE has built strong, local foundations to scale its operations as it looks to international growth opportunities.

Pat has almost 30 years of experience in the tech industry, most recently led HPE Aruba’s Australia and New Zealand operations.

In his new role, he will wield his global leadership expertise to drive innovation, cement blueAPACHE’s position in the local market, and expand its international presence.

“Pat Devlin’s appointment aligns seamlessly with our strategic vision as we reinforce our position as a leading managed services provider,” said Chris Marshall, founder and Managing Director at blueAPACHE.

“Our global clients value the stability and reliability of a debt-free, Australian headquartered Managed Service Provider,” he said.

With roots firmly in Australia, blueAPACHE benefits from a stable political and economic environment to sustain its scalable foundations as international growth opportunities arise.

In an increasingly volatile global market, the move of a dedicated executive from a global to a local operator may signal the beginning of a broader trend.

“While local customers are seeking out Australian Sovereign Cloud providers, the depth of our capability here in Australia means our customers enjoy the financial predictability, platform stability and reliability that’s been hard to find elsewhere,” said Marshall.

“Moreover, supporting local businesses, including MSPs, not only contributes to the Australian economy but also fosters a supportive community of businesses that understand and advocate for each other’s needs.

“Pat’s leadership will be crucial as we continue to excel both locally and internationally, marking our 26th year of excellence.” he said.

Most recently, Pat Devlin led HPE Aruba’s Australia and New Zealand operations, where he more than doubled business results during his six-year tenure.

Devlin adeptly managed through the challenges of a global pandemic and supply chain disruptions, maintaining growth and a cohesive team.

His people-centric approach emphasises relationships over transactions and focuses on advocating the best outcomes for his customers.

“I am excited to join blueAPACHE as General Manager. This role represents a unique opportunity to leverage my experience in both global and local contexts,” said Pat Devlin

“blueAPACHE’s strong foundation and commitment to Australian Sovereign Cloud solutions align perfectly with my own values and vision. I look forward to driving growth and innovation while supporting our local community and expanding our international presence.” he said.

Championing Innovation and Wellness

Pat’s enthusiasm for technology is matched only by his dedication to fostering a culture of health and fitness in the workplace.

An avid ice hockey player and fan, Pat has initiated wellness activities such as the “Running Meeting” – a unique blend of fitness and business discussions that takes place every Tuesday around Sydney Harbour.

blueAPACHE is confident that Pat Devlin’s visionary leadership, innovative mindset, and customer-centric approach will significantly propel the company’s growth and success.

His appointment heralds a new chapter for blueAPACHE, as the company celebrates 26 years of delivering exceptional managed services and cutting-edge technology solutions. Pat will begin his role on August 5.
