ARTPEC-9, the ninth-generation system-on-chip developed in-house by Axis, is at the centre of its 2026 lineup.

It brings AV1 video encoding to Axis network cameras for the first time, improving encoding efficiency by up to 20% compared to previous standards.

Additionally, it embeds Signed Video into every frame at the point of capture, creating a verifiable chain of trust against tampering.

During the show, Axis also unveils its upcoming launch of AXIS D2124-VE Radar. This powerful solution delivers 360-degree coverage across expansive areas, 24/7, in any weather and lighting conditions.

Paired with the AXIS Q6225-LE PTZ Camera, it enables visual and radar double-knock verification with AI-powered classification, creating a perimeter that is virtually impossible to approach undetected.

Integration: Open systems that eliminate silos

Beyond hardware, Axis is addressing the friction caused by technology managed in isolation, a common issue that increases administrative overhead and entrenches data silos.
