In a dramatic shift in the tech industry, React JS has emerged as the clear favorite among world leaders in web development. With millions of dollars in annual revenue, React JS is now the choice of the biggest names in business and technology.

React JS, developed by Facebook in 2011, is an open-source JavaScript library used for building user interfaces or UI components. It has gained popularity due to its simplicity, ease of use, and efficiency in creating complex applications with reusable code.

In recent years, many global organisations and businesses have turned to React JS for their web development needs. This includes tech giants like Netflix, Instagram, and Airbnb, as well as financial institutions like American Express and JP Morgan Chase.

React JS’s popularity has also led to a surge in demand for skilled developers with expertise in the library. This has created a highly competitive job market and increased salaries for React JS developers.

As React JS continues to dominate the web development industry, experts predict that it will remain the top choice for years to come. Its versatility and efficiency make it an invaluable tool for businesses of all sizes, from small startups to large corporations.

Leading outsource React JS Development services provider “Inoxoft” says the first thing that proves such popularity of ReactJS services is the range of industries using it to provide fast performance and favourable features for building bug-free code.

“Though being a library, its benefits allow React.JS developers to stay at the forefront of the fastest and at the same time, high-quality web application development,”

The Rise of React JS

The rise of React JS has not only revolutionised the way web development is done, but it has also brought about a paradigm shift in how businesses approach their digital strategies.

React JS’s popularity has also spurred the growth of a vast ecosystem of third-party tools and plugins, further enhancing its functionality and versatility. This has led to the development of a wide range of React JS-based applications, from e-commerce platforms to social media networks and beyond.

Research shows that React is the leading front-end framework or library and its popularity is still growing at a rapid pace.

React is also highly preferred and desirable compared to other front-end frameworks, despite the fact that it is more widely used. However, as popularity increases, satisfaction with React tends to decrease.

2022 (June 2022, +70,000 developers)

  • Popularity: React.js 42.62%, Angular 20.39%, Vue.js 18.82%, Angular.js 8.99%, Svelte 4.58%
  • Loved: Svelte 75.28%, React.js 68.19%, Vue.js 63.16%, Angular 52.27%, Angular.js 21.01%
  • Want: React.js 22.54%, Vue.js 14.6%, Angular 7.18%, Svelte 9.34%, Angular.js 4.32%

Studies, conducted by top experts in the field, analysed data from countless sources and found that React is far ahead of its competitors in terms of popularity. Its user base has been steadily increasing, and the numbers show no signs of slowing down.

But it’s not just developers who are singing React’s praises. Business leaders and executives are also taking notice of the framework’s potential, and many are investing heavily in its development and implementation.

React Developer Job Outlook for 2023

As businesses continue to adopt React JS at an unprecedented rate, the demand for skilled developers who can work with the library has skyrocketed.

Developers who are proficient in React JS are now among the most sought-after in the industry, commanding top salaries and benefits as companies compete to attract and retain their talent.

Between 2020 and 2030, the number of React Developer jobs is expected to grow by 667,600.  The positions showing rapid growth in this field include Software Developers, Quality Assurance Analysts, and Testers at the estimated growth rate of 22%.

  • United States

According to data, a junior React developer in the US with less than 1 year of experience earns an average yearly salary of $64,000. Meanwhile, mid-level React developers with 1-3 years of experience receive an average annual salary of $110,535.

For senior React developer roles for those with 4-6 years of experience command an annual salary of $150,000 in the US.

  • Australia

In Australia, the typical salary for a React developer is $141,250 annually or $72.44 hourly. Those beginning their career can expect a starting salary of $121,031 per year, whereas the most experienced React developers earn up to $160,000 per year.

React JS has also sparked a fierce debate among developers, with some arguing that it is the best thing to happen to web development in years, while others maintain that it is overhyped and overused.

Despite the debate, it is clear that React JS has made a significant impact on the industry. Its popularity shows no signs of slowing down, and its versatility makes it an ideal choice for developers of all skill levels.

As React continues to dominate the front-end landscape, experts predict that it will play an increasingly important role in shaping the future of technology and is poised to revolutionise the way we interact with digital platforms.
