Cohesity, a leader in AI-powered data security, announced the appointment of Paul Henaghan as Managing Director for Cohesity Australia and New Zealand.

With repeated success across Asia Pacific and EMEA, Paul has delivered revenue growth, market share, profitability, and operational excellence for organizations like Workday and Dell EMC.

Paul has a long track record of enabling high-performing teams to deliver measurable business outcomes and lead organisational change, especially in times of transition.

In this role, Paul will lead the Cohesity Australian and New Zealand operations, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure the company continues delivering exceptional value to its customers and partners.

With a deep understanding of the industry and a passion for innovation, Paul is well-equipped to guide the team toward even greater customer and partner success.

Specifically, Paul will look to expand Cohesity’s capabilities to help its customers build and maintain cyber resilience in a time of unprecedented uncertainty around data breaches and threats.

Paul noted that recent research commissioned by Cohesity had revealed that many organisations, including in Australia, overestimate their cyber resilience capabilities and maturity, leading to significant business continuity disruptions and ransom payments.

“In a time when cyber resilience is paramount for all organisations, I am exceptionally proud to lead the talented team at Cohesity as we work to safeguard Australian and New Zealand organisations from the increasing threat of cyberattacks,” Henaghan said,

“I am particularly interested in working with our customers and partners to ensure they can benefit from Cohesity’s industry-leading artificial intelligence-powered solutions,”

“As The Cohesity Global Cyber Resilience Report 2024 showed, we as an industry must do more to help our customers avoid falling victim to a ransomware attack and ensure they have all the tools available to improve cyber resilience.” he said.

Kit Beall, Global Chief Revenue Officer for Cohesity, said, “We are excited to welcome Paul, a proven industry leader and innovator, to lead Cohesity in Australia and New Zealand”

“ANZ is an important market for adopting technologies that support productivity and enhance competitive advantage but, like organisations all over the world, faces unprecedented challenges around cyber resilience,”

“With the addition of Paul’s leadership, more customers and partners in the ANZ market will benefit from Cohesity’s industry leading cyber resilience solutions.” said Beall,

Paul Henaghan’s appointment as Managing Director for Cohesity marks a significant step forward for the company as it aims to enhance its presence in the region.

With his extensive experience and proven track record in the technology sector, Henaghan is poised to drive strategic growth and innovation
