With finding the right candidate for the job reported as recruiters’ #1 pain point, Indeed’s Premium Sponsored Jobs is designed to cut through the noise and deliver precision hiring at speed—particularly valuable for employers in industries facing ongoing worker shortages

Indeed has unveiled Premium Sponsored Jobs, a new hiring product aimed at helping employers fill vacancies faster by matching them with qualified candidates more efficiently.

The platform combines advertising, employer branding, and talent sourcing into one streamlined solution, giving organisations greater visibility in an increasingly competitive recruitment market and enabling more direct access to high-quality applicants.

Smarter matching through AI and data to quicken hiring process

Premium Sponsored Jobs directly addresses this challenge. The solution uses Indeed’s rich labour market data and AI technology to identify and match employers with great-fit candidates based on their skills and experience, saving employers valuable time.

Employers who post directly on Indeed with a Premium plan see 3x more applicants and make hires 58% faster compared to free postings.

Built for impact across industries

With Premium Sponsored Jobs, employers are not just posting vacancies—they’re creating branded, engaging, and targeted opportunities that stand out in search results.

Key benefits include:

  • Quick, efficient, memorable connections: With Premium Sponsored Jobs, your role is prioritised over similar job posts, with the option to add attention-grabbing visuals, like company logos and images, and the Urgently Hiring label to help your ad stand out.

Employer Branded Ads (EBA) are a proven way to reach new talent with 94% of EBA impressions confirmed to reach a fresh audience.
  • Proactive matching: Immediately view candidates whose resumes on Indeed fit your job description and invite them to apply.

A recent survey found that 93% of employers said Premium Sponsored Jobs helps their teams connect with top talent, while 95% reported they would recommend it to other organisations.

“Hiring the right talent has never been more complex, but with Premium Sponsored Jobs we’re making it simpler and faster for employers to find great-fit candidates,” said Laura Ford, Managing Director at Indeed.

“By bringing together advanced matching technology and employer branding tools in a single solution, we’re enabling organisations to cut through the noise, reach qualified talent, and hire with speed and confidence through targeted visibility and direct candidate engagement.” she said.

Supporting employers in hard-to-fill sectors

Premium Sponsored Jobs is particularly valuable for industries facing ongoing workforce shortages, such as healthcare, education, and technology. These sectors remain among the most competitive, with employers often struggling to attract and retain skilled workers.

Indeed research has identified Australia’s 20 hardest-to-fill jobs in 2025, including roles such as:

  • General practitioner
  • Service technician
  • Senior educator
  • Exercise physiologist
  • Speech pathologist
  • Podiatrist
  • Stylist
  • Occupational therapist
  • Assistant restaurant manager
  • Baker
  • Assistant manager
  • Account executive
  • Early childhood teacher
  • Senior software engineer
  • Boilermaker
  • Field service technician
  • Daycare teacher

Ford continued, “In today’s job market, employers should prioritise more than just volume when it comes to applications—they need quality and Premium Sponsored Jobs is designed to deliver exactly that.”

With over 580 million job seeker Profiles, people in more than 60 countries across 28 languages come to Indeed to search for jobs, post resumes, and research companies.
