Bleu Australia onboards with Australian Payments Network (AusPayNet), as one of its first Payment Service Providers.

Bleu Australia Managing Director, Cameron Ross says the membership reinforces Bleu’s commitment to providing top quality service as an innovative payment service provider in Australia.

“This membership reinforces our commitment to lead the way in a compliant and collaborative drive for innovation in payment experiences while solving real challenges across many sectors, from retail and hospitality to gaming and healthcare.”

“AusPayNet provides a platform for independent validation of our technology, wider industry visibility of the unique role Bluetooth can play in solving fraud and proximity related issues with mobile payments, whilst providing merchants, consumers and acquirers tools to offer greater customer engagement and personalised experiences.”

“Bleu Australia will continue its mission of democratising payments with its new membership with AusPayNet, allowing businesses and customers to choose how they want to exchange value with one another with convenience, flexibility, and autonomy, thus shaping the future of payments.”

AusPayNet Chief Executive Officer, Andy White says the membership will allow Bleu Australia to be at the forefront of system-wide innovation.

“We are excited to welcome Bleu Australia as one of our first Payment Services Provider (PSP) members. The new membership category, which recognises the expansion of the payments industry beyond traditional participants and operators, has drawn strong interest since its launch last month.”

“Bringing payment service providers on board ensures that AusPayNet and our standards-setting are inclusive of all participants in the payment’s ecosystem. We look forward to Bleu helping shape the future of payments.”

Bleu helps merchants deliver exceptional customer experiences through a secure touchless payment solution. Powered by Bluetooth, it allows merchants across all sectors, to accept payments with everyday mobile devices, without the need for an internet connection or hardware.

User-generated data and analytics also allows merchants to enhance and tailor their customer service experience whilst the technology works to prevent fraudulent activity.
