Travel technology company Holafly recently announced the launch of its dedicated mobile application for iPhone and Android devices, marking a significant expansion of its eSIM services for international travelers.

The new app provides customers with complete autonomy over their eSIM purchase, activation, and management processes directly from their mobile devices.

The application, available for download from both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, allows existing Holafly customers to access their accounts using the email address associated with their original purchase.

Comprehensive Feature Set

Platform centralises all eSIM-related functions into a single, user-friendly interface.

The Holafly app streamlines the eSIM experience for travellers, offering easy setup guides, a dashboard to manage both active and expired eSIMs, plus built-in troubleshooting tools to quickly resolve connection issues.

Users can monitor their data consumption in real-time and track important dates such as activation and expiration periods.

The app also maintains an updated list of eSIM-compatible devices and provides direct access to customer support through its integrated Help Center.

Additional functionality includes access to user profiles and payment information, as well as a feedback system that allows customers to report issues or suggest improvements directly to the company.

Latest News – Holafly eSIM Thailand

Holafly’s Thailand eSIM offers unlimited data at 5G/4G speeds across the country, making it an ideal solution for travelers exploring everything from bustling Bangkok to the tropical beaches of Phuket

All Holafly eSIM plans for Thailand include unlimited data, hotspot sharing capabilities, and 24/7 customer support. Users can share up to 500MB of data daily with fellow travelers through the hotspot feature, perfect for keeping multiple devices connected.

Thailand’s telecommunications sector is positioning itself as a regional leader in advanced mobile technology, with operators AIS and True achieving over 95% population coverage with their standalone 5G networks by 2024, creating fertile ground for eSIM adoption

Holafly Surpasses 10 Million eSIMs Sold – Expands into Global Enterprise Solutions

Holafly has quickly established itself as one of the fastest-growing companies in the travel-tech sector, driven by the surging global demand for flexible and reliable connectivity solutions.

The company has recently celebrated a major milestone, surpassing 10 million eSIMs sold worldwide — a testament to its rapid growth, expanding customer base, and strong position as a leading provider of international mobile data services.

VP of B2B & Partnerships at Holafly Alex Bryszkowski, said, “Organisations today need instant and reliable access to data for their teams across borders,”

“Our platform eliminates the need for physical SIM cards and empowers companies to manage and deploy data plans at scale, instantly and securely,” said Bryszkowski

Already trusted by leading organisations such as Loewe, Volvo, Deloitte, and TUI, Holafly’s B2B solution is becoming an essential tool in corporate environments.

Global Coverage Expansion

Holafly’s eSIM technology currently supports internet connectivity across more than 200 destinations worldwide.

The service offers both single-country and multi-destination options, including regional and global eSIM plans designed for travelers visiting multiple countries during a single trip.

This broad coverage, combined with the new mobile app’s management capabilities, positions Holafly to compete more effectively in the growing international travel connectivity market.

The global eSIM market is experiencing explosive growth, expanding from USD 11.76 billion in 2023 to USD 13.54 billion in 2024 with projections showing continued growth at a CAGR of 15.27%, reaching USD 31.82 billion by 2030

Thailand’s strong 5G network and the global eSIM boom position it as a key digital hub, with the M2M segment set to take 68.06% of the market by 2025, supporting smart city and IoT growth.

Deloitte’s 2024 Corporate Travel Outlook reveals that 80% of companies worldwide have maintained or even increased business travel this year.

With teams travelling more than ever, many organisations are turning to Holafly to cut roaming expenses and monitor data usage through a centralised, real-time platform.

The launch comes as demand for seamless international connectivity solutions continues to rise among business and leisure travelers seeking alternatives to traditional roaming charges and local SIM card purchases.

The Holafly eSIM app is now available for download on both major mobile platforms, with the company encouraging existing customers to upgrade their service experience through the new mobile interface.

Holafly was founded in 2018 by Pedro Maiquez and YingYan Hu, born from their own frustration with the high costs and complications of staying connected while travelling abroad.
