ProSpend, Australia’s leading unified spend management platform, today launched ‘Start ProSpending’ – its first brand campaign calling on Australian businesses to transform how they manage spend.

The campaign addresses a critical challenge in today’s competitive environment: finance teams are losing valuable time and strategic opportunities to manual processes and disconnected systems.

MYOB Research reveals Australian finance teams waste almost a full working day each week (7 hours) on tasks caused by lack of integration between digital tools, with 53% of teams duplicating work across multiple systems.

The manual effort includes entering information from one system to another, checking for consistency, and fixing errors.

ProSpend brings together expense management, AP automation, and virtual cards in one unified platform – eliminating the need for multiple systems that create more complexity than they solve.

This complete solution helps mid-market businesses take control of every dollar spent while giving finance teams back their time for strategic work.

“Ten years ago, working in travel, I witnessed firsthand the pain of manual financial processes. Today, despite all the technological advancement, finance teams are still losing precious time and opportunities to outdated systems,” said Sharon Nouh, CEO of ProSpend.

“That’s why we’ve built the only platform that truly unifies expense management, AP automation, and corporate cards – because Australian businesses deserve better than chaos.”

The integrated campaign launches across digital channels and will also be featured at the MYOB Partner Connect Event in Sydney on March 4-5, addressing the growing frustration with disconnected point solutions in the mid-market segment.

“With 60% of CFOs now directly responsible for choosing technology solutions, we’re seeing a clear shift in the market,” said Phillip Vella, Sales Director at ProSpend.

“Mid-market businesses are at a digital transformation tipping point – they’re ready to move beyond disconnected systems and point solutions that create more complexity than they solve.”

“This campaign speaks to a reality we see everyday – finance teams missing family dinners, CFOs losing sleep over reconciliations, business owners drowning in paperwork,” said Tanu Kaushik, Marketing Director at ProSpend.

“‘Start ProSpending’ isn’t just a tagline – it’s a call for change that’s long overdue in Australian business.”

“After countless conversations with finance leaders, one thing is crystal clear: they’re not looking for another fancy tool to add to their tech stack.

“They’re looking for a way out of the daily grind,” said Ingrid Heal, Head of Customer at ProSpend. Our customers have helped us build something that actually works for real Aussie businesses.” Kaushik said.

As part of the campaign, ProSpend will release ‘The Future of Spend Management’ report next month, looking at how CFOs across the ANZ region in the mid-market are tackling their financial operations.

The report digs deep into why finance teams are moving away from clunky old systems towards unified platforms, with real insights from industry leaders about streamlining ops, staying compliant, and driving growth.

With software spending tipped to hit $46 billion in 2025 – a 13.4% jump according to Gartner – the report will give finance leaders a practical guide to modernising their spend management.

Other campaign assets include brand films, thought leadership content, and customer success stories showcasing real transformation journeys.
