Network Four, an Australian public relations agency, has partnered with US-based AI governance specialist Cranium.ai in a collaboration that follows Telstra Corporation’s recent engagement with the American firm.

The partnership comes as Cranium.ai works with Australia’s largest telecommunications provider to implement comprehensive AI safety and compliance frameworks.

Cranium.ai specialises in AI governance solutions designed to help organisations navigate the complex landscape of AI safety standards and regulatory requiremen

The Telstra deal lands after Cranium raised US$25 million in Series A funding on October 2025. Telstra Ventures led the round, with participation from KPMG LLP and SYN Ventures.

Network Four will support communications efforts around the initiative, which focuses on embedding safety, trust, and regulatory compliance throughout Telstra’s AI deployment processes.

The collaboration reflects growing corporate emphasis on responsible AI implementation as businesses increasingly integrate artificial intelligence into their operations.

For Telstra, the engagement represents a proactive approach to AI governance at a time when regulators worldwide are intensifying scrutiny of artificial intelligence applications in consumer-facing industries.

The telecommunications giant has been expanding its use of AI across customer service, network optimisation, and business operations.

Network Four’s involvement signals the strategic communications importance companies are placing on their AI governance initiatives, as businesses seek to build public confidence in their responsible use of emerging technologies.
