Andy Reid Just Called Time on Real Estate Fluff

New Coaching Platform to Elevate Australia’s Real Estate Standards

Andy Reid, one of Australia’s most trusted auctioneers and performance coaches, has had enough of the empty hype choking the real estate industry.

His new coaching platform, the S.O.L.D Network, is built for agents who are sick of recycled scripts, overpriced seminars, and fluff-filled webinars. Priced at just $30 a month, it delivers practical, psychology-backed training that actually works in the real world.

Andy understands the financial pressures that come with being on the front line of sales, and is making his wealth of knowledge as accessible as possible.

Agents and aspiring professionals will now have access to a range of resources, including video modules, live group sessions, peer support, and direct guidance from Reid himself.

The platform simplifies jargon and hype, focusing instead on capability, confidence, and understanding of customer psychology. The platform provides agents with practical skills, mindset tools, and behavioural insights needed to thrive in an industry that is fragmenting.

“There’s too much theatre in this industry and not enough substance. This platform cuts the crap,” he said. “If your coaching session feels more like a TED Talk than a tactical plan, you’re in the wrong room.”

“The fact is that 70% of new agents leave the industry within 1 year, as a result of strained profitability and the lack of time available for directors to nurture fresh talent.”

“Too many agents are thrown into the deep end with just a login and a script. That’s a big reason why our profession ranks so low on the trust scale,” said Reid. “

This platform is about rebuilding skill and confidence – because that’s what allows clients to feel & see value in the service.”

“The truth is, most agents are too busy chasing listings instead of building a connection with clients. They are so focussed on what they do that they don’t pay attention to the customer while they do it.”

“You don’t get better by watching more motivational videos. You get better by doing the work, getting real feedback, and being held to account.” he said.

The Industry at a Tipping Point

Australia’s real estate sector is under pressure to evolve:

● Real estate agents consistently rank among Australia’s least trusted professions, just above politicians and below used car salespeople.

● Over $318 million was lost to property scams in the past year alone, including fake listings and payment fraud.

● Despite the industry being worth $235 billion, many new agents enter the field with little to no formal training.

● The Australian e-learning market has now surpassed $10 billion, reflecting strong demand for accessible, practical training.

● However, according to a Harvard study, only 5.5% of students end up completing an online course if they don’t have any accountability.

“AI will displace a large chunk of the industry – likely 80 percent of agents who just follow scripts and chase listings,” said Reid. “But for the agents who want to interpret the market, manage pressure, communicate with clarity and earn greater value? This platform is built for them.”

“If you’re just memorising scripts and winging it at open homes, you’re already on borrowed time. This is about learning how to actually think and operate like a professional.”

Real-World Coaching for Real-World Results

The S.O.L.D Network delivers focused, high-impact training in 5 core areas:

  1. Understanding client behaviour and managing the “peaks of anxiety” in every transaction
  2. Negotiating with clarity and confidence under pressure
  3. Developing ethical, high-converting sales strategies
  4. Building resilience, mental clarity, and personal accountability
  5. Delivering information that demonstrates value beyond the transaction.

Delivered via the Skool platform, the program is designed for both new agents and experienced professionals. Members benefit from live sessions and direct feedback from Reid, whose coaching style is honest, practical, and grounded in behavioural psychology.

About Andy Reid

Andy Reid was named Australian Auctioneer of the Year in 2022 and has coached thousands of agents nationwide.

He is the author of “Success Curious,” host of a popular podcast featuring leaders in business and performance, and a sought-after speaker on sales, resilience, and ethical leadership.

He is also a long-time charity auctioneer, having raised over $4 million for various causes across Australia.

“You don’t need more motivational fluff. You need someone who’s been in the trenches, knows what works, and tells it to you straight,” said Reid.
