TRICKD in the heart of Cavill Mall Surfers Paradise is leaning all the way into the weird (and wonderfully futuristic) for International AI Day THIS THURSDAY, July 16 – celebrating with its most delightfully bizarre resident: an AI-powered talking pickle that’s become one of the stars of the show.

Perched proudly among TRICKD’s mind-bending illusions and sensory surprises, the chatty gherkin invites guests to ask questions, share a laugh, or simply test the limits of artificial intelligence – with AI generated answers that are equal parts clever, curious and completely unpredictable.

People can sometimes be hesitant in embracing AI – but there’s no doubt it’s the way of the future says Kikira Pirika, General Manager, Ripley’s Believe It or Not!

Rather than throwing visitors straight into chaos, TRICKD gently lures you in – beginning with subtle visual tricks (and a hidden entrance, naturally) before dialling things up into full sensory mischief.

Reflections don’t behave, sound shifts unexpectedly, textures confuse your hands and even taste gets in on the act.

From sweet sundaes topped with edible insects like ants, mealworms and crickets, to lollies that flip sour into sweet, TRICKD proves that reality can be more flexible than you think.

And on July 16 it be all about celebrating that flexibility – with an AI powered pickle that talks back.

Whether you’re an AI enthusiast, a curious sceptic, or just someone who enjoys a good laugh with a side of surrealism, TRICKD’s International AI Day pickle ambassador is a reminder that technology doesn’t have to be intimidating – sometimes, it can just be downright
