Rookie Me, an innovative Australian sports-technology company has been announced as a Victorian finalist in the 2025 Telstra Best of Business Awards, selected from more than 22,000 nominations nationwide.
Adham ‘Adz’ Dimachki, CEO of Rookie Me said, “We are both honoured and humbled to be recognised as a finalist in the Telstra Best of Business Awards, it is such a huge achievement for our whole team!”
“We are grateful to Telstra for providing this awards platform for Australian businesses to be recognised for their products, hard work and innovation.
“The process has been incredibly rewarding and has allowed our company to reflect on our personal business journey, throughout the application experience.”
Rookie Me is a finalist in the Building Communities category — for businesses actively building and impacting communities, to create meaningful and lasting equity within the sporting industry.
“I am grateful for Rookie Me to be recognised in this category, as sports and community saved my life during my youth,” said Dimachki,
“Telstra’s work to shine a spotlight on the importance of impacting communities and creating equity aligns with my personal values and fundamentally what Rookie Me stands for.”
“Our objective is for all grassroots sporting communities (regardless of demographic) to have the opportunity to save others’ lives, like it did mine, through our SaaS and face-to-face solutions.
To achieve this goal, RookieMe provides elite products for free, or for a fraction of the retail value to sporting clubs, nationwide. In addition to offering them income opportunities to further develop their club and community.” he said.
Telstra’s Best of Business Awards program continues Telstra’s long legacy of awards programs which has recognised exceptional small and medium businesses for more than 25 years, providing a platform to further their success and inspire others.
