Over the past twelve years, Peacock Bros. has worked with Honeywell’s advanced automation and mobility solutions to deliver smarter, more connected outcomes to businesses throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Peacock Bros., part of the Peacock Group, manufactures and supplies high-quality thermal and printed labels and cartons, tags and flexible packaging products for over 12,000 customers across Australia and New Zealand.

“Peacock Bros. strategic partnership with Honeywell has delivered true innovation into the Australian market and transformed business processes and outcomes for twelve years,” said Ryan McGrath, Managing Director at Peacock Group.

“As a Honeywell certified Platinum Plus Performance Partner and authorised reseller and service provider in Australia, we are incredibly proud of what we have accomplished together and look forward to continued success.” he said.

Innovating Together Through Strategic Partnerships

For more than a decade, Peacock Bros. and Honeywell have collaborated to deliver advanced automation and mobility solutions that improve efficiency and visibility for businesses.

Thie partnership has been influential in supporting businesses like leading Australian road freight transportation company Direct Freight.

To provide greater visibility of their goods through the supply chain and meet customer demand, Direct Freight engaged Peacock Bros. and Honeywell to deploy a large-scale mobile device and software system upgrade across its business.

Direct Freight worked with Peacock Bros. to deploy 1,400 Honeywell CT60 XP Handheld-Computers and provide anywhere, anytime connectivity and fast data capture for maximum uptime and productivity.

The devices are used by Direct Freight to scan goods being loaded onto and off delivery trucks, as well as being signed on delivery at end points to ensure the tracking of parcels is undertaken accurately.

In addition to providing greater levels of product visibility and accuracy through the delivery process, the Peacock Bros. and Honeywell mobility solution also helps Direct Freight improve its driver operations.

With enhanced GPS tracking and communication capabilities provided through the Honeywell CT60 XP, driver routing has been overhauled to enhance delivery times.

Given that driver communications now occur through VoIP on the mobile device, trucks no longer require expensive two-way radio fit outs and maintenance, which provides tangible cost savings to Direct Freight.

“Through our advanced unified mobility solution, we have full visibility of driver activity and can reroute them in real-time to avoid accidents or delays,” said Stephen Catania, Commercial Director for Direct Freight.

“On the road communications and management is key to ensuring driver safety, as well as the fast and accurate delivery of goods to customers. All of which are primary goals for our business,” Catania said.

Over a Decade of Growth and a Future of Possibilities

As Peacock Bros. celebrates its ten-year partnership with Honeywell, both companies are committed to delivering real business transformation in Australia through deploying and managing best-in-class in mobile computer, barcode scanning and fixed and mobile printing solutions

“Honeywell is proud to mark twelve years of partnership with Peacock Bros., a collaboration that has consistently delivered outstanding results for businesses across Australia and New Zealand,” said Luke Terrell, General Manager, ANZ, Honeywell.

“By integrating our advanced technology with Peacock Bros.’ expertise, we’ve helped organisations improve efficiency, visibility, and operational performance. We look forward to continuing this successful relationship and driving innovation together for years to come.” Terrell said.

“We are grateful for Honeywell’s continued support and for the dedication of our teams who have driven this partnership forward. This is just the beginning. Here’s to another decade of innovation and success,” McGrath said.
