Embedded within Pattern’s comprehensive ecommerce technology suite, Destiny not only assesses the competitive landscape but also identifies the most effective keywords to drive success. Leveraging advanced artificial intelligence in advertising, Destiny seamlessly channels traffic directly to a brand’s product listings.

The new functionality will empower brands with a distinct advantage in the ever-evolving digital retail ecosystem, guaranteeing that every advertising dollar is strategically invested to foster continuous growth.

Director of Sales, JPAC for Pattern, Dan Richardson said, “The ecommerce landscape is like a vast digital shelf. Every brand aspires to be at the forefront, especially in the ‘top three listings’ where 60% of all clicks occur and buyer traffic can be concentrated,”

“Destiny is our innovative approach to help brands secure that prime position and drive sales in a crowded and highly competitive online retail environment,” said Richardson.

The strength of Destiny stems from its meticulous focus on data. The platform has gathered an astounding 200 trillion data points, extracting more than 3 million keywords from Amazon.

The extensive dataset enables highly accurate forecasts about brand performance, bolstering brands’ strategies to enhance their organic visibility while concurrently reducing their reliance on advertising.

Additionally, complex algorithms generate ‘winnability scores’ for keywords, empowering brands with precise guidance on how to strategically position themselves for organic success.

According to Richardson Destiny will allow brands to reduce their reliance on advertising, while still achieving organic visibility.

“At Pattern, our goal is to help brands use advertising to eventually reduce their dependence on it. It’s all about achieving a balance for sustained success and ensuring that your promotional expenditure actually works for you.”

“In challenging economic times when brands face a higher barrier to sale due to cost-of-living pressures, pumping excessive amounts of advertising dollars into ecommerce and marketplace activity is not sustainable,” he explained.

Australian Brands Can Significantly Boost Sales.

The ‘Marketplace Consumer Trends Report – 2023‘ from Pattern highlights a promising opportunity, with 92% of consumers expressing their intention to shop on platforms like eBay and Catch in the upcoming year. Furthermore, 84% of individuals anticipate maintaining or increasing their spending on Amazon.

To assist brands in standing out within the competitive marketplace environment and capturing the attention of buyers, Destiny employs a comprehensive approach.

This involves analyzing over 26 million distinct products to construct a tailored competitive landscape. The emphasis is placed on achieving and maintaining organic visibility, rather than simply increasing expenditures.

“Destiny is all about smart targeting. It shifts bids, tests keywords, and intelligently drives traffic, ensuring brands receive the highest possible return on their investment,”

“We’ve witnessed its potential, with some brands experiencing unprecedented ecommerce growth. Now, we’re excited to bring this innovation to Australia.”

Pattern stands at the forefront of the global ecommerce and marketplace acceleration realm. Since its inception in 2013 and has exhibited robust growth, boasting a workforce of over 1,400 professionals operating across 24 global hubs, spanning Melbourne, Sydney, and the Gold Coast.

Its global presence serves to empower top-tier brands in achieving rapid growth on direct-to-consumer websites and worldwide ecommerce platforms and holds the distinction of being one of the world’s largest Amazon sellers.
