Manhattan Associates Inc. a global leader in AI-powered supply chain commerce solutions, recently launched Solution Design Studio, an AI-driven workspace that lets business users configure complex supply chain systems using natural language.
Part of the company’s ActivePlatform™, this release advances Manhattan’s Agentic AI strategy by expanding beyond individual agents to a platform that helps design, configure, and extend supply chain operations.
The goal is to significantly speed up and simplify traditional system design and configuration.
Solution Design Studio joins ProActive®, where customers build application extensions, and Agent Foundry™, where AI agents are created. Instead of navigating complex configuration screens, users can create “blueprints” — natural-language descriptions of warehouse, transport, or broader operations.
These can be written in an editor or imported from documents, then reviewed and deployed. AI agents translate approved blueprints into live system configurations across Manhattan Active solutions.
Built for business users such as warehouse and transport managers, the studio keeps the blueprint as the system of record.
As operations change, users can update and redeploy it, ensuring systems stay aligned with current business needs while the platform handles underlying complexity.
“As supply chain and commerce grow more complex, the design and configuration phases are often where speed-to-value suffers,” said Sanjeev Siotia, executive vice president and chief technology officer at Manhattan Associates.
“Solution Design Studio simplifies configuration by translating it into natural language for business users, helping customers move faster.”
“During testing, Solution Design Studio autonomously and successfully configured the majority of ActiveWarehouseä using externally created designs. What once took months can now be done in minutes, saving significant time,” he said.
Solution Design Studio is already in use with Manhattan’s own services teams in targeted implementations, with the full studio experience expected to begin rolling out to customers in the coming quarters too.
