To support expansion efforts in Australia and New Zealand, Cequence Security, a prominent provider of Unified API Protection, has appointed Glen Maloney as ANZ Country Lead. With more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, Maloney previously served as ANZ Regional Sales Manager at ExtraHop.
In his new role, Maloney will assist hyper-connected enterprises in Australia by providing market-leading protection for their API-based applications.
Maloney notes that APIs are crucial for businesses to achieve flexibility and agility, but many organisations do not have a solution that covers the entire API lifecycle, leaving them vulnerable to breaches.
He also believes that Cequence Security’s distinct approach in detecting and preventing API breaches that can result in fraud and data loss has led to the company protecting over US$1.3 trillion in assets for Fortune 500 companies and more than two billion user accounts globally.
