Cloudflare was recognised as Leader in the 2022 GigaOm Radar Report for DDoS Protection after the evaluation of nine different vendors and ranking the highest overall.

Cloudflare’s DDoS protection solutions help organisations protect their applications, websites and networks — without sacrificing performance.

The content delivery and cloud secutity giant provides unmetered autonomous DDoS mitigation combined with 172 Tbps of network edge capacity can absorb and deflect even the largest volumetric attacks.

The 2022 GigaOm Radar for DDoS Protection report maps vendors based on criteria like rate of innovation, maturity of offering, platform vs. feature-led approach, and more.

When compared to other top providers, Cloudflare was ranked higher than any other vendor in the space, and named a “Leader” and “Fast-mover.”

As ransomware continues to make headlines in regards to cyber dangers, it is simple to not pay attention to distributed denial of service (DDoS) assaults even though they are happening more commonly and intensely.

In reality, the two threats have been joined to form a DDoS ransom attack, where a business is subjected to a DDoS and then a ransom is requested in exchange for not launching a more robust DDoS.

This GigaOm Radar report highlights key DDOS protection vendors and equips IT decision-makers with the information needed to select the best fit for their business and use case requirements.

In the corresponding GigaOm report “Key Criteria for Evaluating DDoS Protection Solutions describes in more detail the key features and metrics that are used to evaluate vendors in this market.
