With decades of combined experience shaping major public service platforms including myGov and DSS.gov.au, Jude has quietly been delivering some of Australia’s most significant digital transformations over the past year. Now, they are stepping into the spotlight.

“We’ve built Jude to create end-to-end digital solutions that genuinely work for people, informed by real user research and insight, not just assumptions,” says Al Croston, General Manager at Jude.

“We take the best of our experience with large-scale transformation and move beyond legacy thinking to deliver smarter, more adaptive services.” Croston said

In just the past year, Jude has played a key role in delivering some of Australia’s most significant digital projects, including:

  • The award-winning redesign of the Department of Social Services website, named Best Government Website at the 2025 Drupal Splash Awards.

  • An initiative for the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water, helping drive corporate engagement with sustainability practices and nature-positive investment.

  • The enhancement of the APS Careers Pathways platform, making it easier for Australians, from early career seekers to career changers, to find opportunities across the public service.

  • The Department of Christmas Affairs; the viral initiative that brings a personal touch to the public sector every year with a little fun along the way.

“We’re about delivering digital services that not only meet compliance but drive real-world impact. Services that are accessible, inclusive, and built for the people who use them,” says Sophie Wright, Head of Digital Transformation at Jude. “

“That means understanding context, removing barriers, and delivering tools that empower people every day.” Wright said

With a leadership team that is gender-equal and a workforce that is 75% female, Jude is also setting a new benchmark for inclusivity in digital leadership. They are proudly values-led, outcomes-driven and engineered for collaboration.

Following their inclusion on key Federal Government panels in late 2024, Jude is now partnering directly with agencies and departments looking for meaningful, measurable digital change.

“We want to be the go-to digital partner for public service teams who care about what their platforms actually do for people,” says Millie Clery, Head of Digital Experience. “The ones who understand that government services don’t need to be bland or broken. They can be brilliant.”

About Jude

Jude is a digital services agency delivering strategy with purpose, creativity with impact, and technology that works. With over 20 years’ experience across digital design and delivery, the founder-led team is trusted by government to create services that are not only functional, but purposeful, inclusive and easy to use.

Jude brings together strategists, researchers, designers, developers and content specialists to shape some of Australia’s most important digital platforms.

Every project is driven by a commitment to human-centred design, accessibility and meaningful impact; helping government deliver smarter services that work for everyone.
