IBM Australia has hired former TikTok, Google exec Elisa Kelsall as its new general manager for ecosystem and alliances.

Kelsall will report to Nicholas Flood, IBM Australia’s managing director and will be responsible for leading the transformation of the tech giant’s Australian ecosystem.

Nicholas Flood, VP of IBM technology and managing director of IBM Australia says we are delighted to have welcomed Elisa to IBM Technology’s leadership team in Australia, where she will lead the local IBM Ecosystem.

“Elisa’s involvement in IBM’s Australian ecosystem transformation will be crucial in helping us transform it into an ecosystem that is easier for partners to work with and succeed.” says Flood.

From 2011 to 2020, Kelsall held several sales and leadership positions at Google Australia, her most recent position being head of new business acquisitions for ANZ. She also worked at Toshiba Information Systems in the United Kingdom from 2005 to 2010.

“I had already enjoyed meeting with several local partners and taking on board their feedback to inform how IBM is looking to deepen relationships with existing partners.”

“It’s an exciting time in the IBM Ecosystem for our partners and I am delighted to have joined IBM Australia with the mission of bringing the best of our technology solutions to partners for the end goal of growing our businesses together,” says Kelsall
