Motion5, a boutique consultancy firm focussed on sales and commercial excellence, announced an expansion of their strategic focus within healthcare and IT industries to the APAC region.

Global tech sales expert Remko Jacobs has been appointed Partner (APAC) and is heading up the new office in Melbourne, Australia.

Founded in 2003, Motion5 has fifteen consultants specialising in commercial excellence within MedTech, Pharma, IT, Manufacturing, and Logistics.

The new Melbourne office will offer client services for large national and international companies within the APAC region, with a focus on increasing companies’ commercial power – with people at the centre.

Founder and Owner of Motion5 Peter Rademakers said the new office in Melbourne was an exciting step forward.

“Our mission is to get people moving. We translate ambition into a customer-oriented process in which you bring the right people together at the important moments,” said Mr Rademakers.

“Motion5 has always made moves in the international market. With the growth of the company and the opening of this branch, it shows that we are also ‘in motion’.”

With redefining sales as their mission, Motion5 provides companies with tailor-made solutions based on needs and goals: a complete program to help improve the separate components within organisations and connect them in a smart way, bringing entire teams into motion.

APAC Region Partner, Remko Jacobs, brings over three decades of sales and operational management expertise in both his own and global emerging technology companies.

Jacobs has worked across multiple categories including Financial Services, Insurance, and Superannuation, Technology, Government, Utilities, and Aviation and has built an excellent reputation and track record in delivering exceptional results.

“Our modelling shows that we expect to see significant growth in healthcare technology over the next few years in this region,” said Mr Jacobs.

“Motion5 brings a different approach to the traditional consultancies and we are excited to bring our Model of Change to APAC businesses.”

The Motion5 Model of Change describes what is considered to be the most important elements of an organisation for commercial excellence and change: strategy & vision, process & structure, skills, mindset, and leadership.

Working with dedication to achieve the desired business outcomes, Motion5 has a strong focus on the human factor in change.
