CompTIA announced today that nominations for the ANZ Spotlight Awards are being accepted in eight categories – four each for individuals and organisations. Nominations are due by 18 August 2023. Spotlight Award winners will be honoured at a Spotlight Awards Dinner following the ANZ Community Meeting on 25 October 2023.

“We’re excited to expand the Spotlight Awards program to our ANZ Community – the best and brightest of the region’s tech industry,” said MJ Shoer, chief community officer, CompTIA.

“Their vibrancy and passion for promoting and growing the industry in unrivaled; and their commitment to making the industry inclusive and welcoming for all is unmatched,” said Shoer

The CompTIA Spotlight Awards, already established in North America and the United Kingdom and Ireland, recognise excellence in leadership, commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion and innovation.

Categories for the inaugural ANZ Spotlight Awards for individuals include Future Leader, Advancing Women in Technology, Community Leadership and Cybersecurity Leadership. Organisational awards will be presented in the categories of Advancing Diversity in Technology, Solution Provider, Innovative Vendor and Innovative Distributor.

Award winners will be selected by a panel of judges who evaluate nominees for their positive impact on the tech industry; contributions that support CompTIA’s mission to advance the tech industry; and actions and initiatives that demonstrate leadership in their respective award category. Complete details and nomination forms for all categories are available

CompTIA’s member communities around the world allow members to serve as influencers and ambassadors, helping to advance the tech industry as well as their own businesses and careers.

They collaborate on business initiatives, network with peers, open doors to new partnerships, and contribute ideas to shape the future of our industry. The ANZ Community includes committees on cybersecurity, emerging technology and managed services
