Barracuda Networks has announced a major upgrade to its BarracudaONE cybersecurity platform alongside a revamped Partner Success Program, signalling a sharper focus on both threat protection and channel growth.
The latest enhancements bolster cyber resilience across email, network access and generative AI environments, while new partner incentives, benefits and tools are designed to help MSPs and resellers scale faster and drive stronger profitability.
“Email and identity‑based attacks are intensifying at an unprecedented pace, and generative AI is introducing an entirely new layer of risk,” said Rohit Ghai, Chief Executive Officer at Barracuda.
“With our newest BarracudaONE and partner program enhancements, we’re accelerating innovation and delivering on our commitment to provide a platform that is easy to buy, deploy and use as well as being partner-first and partner-only.”
“We’re harnessing AI to empower organisations to keep pace with a rapidly evolving threat landscape and build lasting resilience with confidence.”
Advancing Cyber Resilience Across the Modern Attack Surface
BarracudaONE delivers true resilience for organisations – including managed service providers (MSPs) and their customers – through an easy, complete, intelligent, and open ecosystem. New advancements include:
- Email security: Barracuda Email Protection strengthens defence across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, stopping phishing and account takeover with automated response.
- Network edge security: Barracuda SecureEdge Access delivers a unified, cloud-based secure service edge platform, combining zero trust access, firewall-as-a-service and AI usage controls.
- Generative AI visibility: Barracuda AI Security provides oversight of AI usage, including shadow AI detection, risk scoring and policy enforcement to improve compliance and reduce data exposure.
Barracuda Accelerates Partner Growth and Profitability
Barracuda Networks is reshaping its global channel strategy with a sweeping overhaul of its Partner Success Program, bringing MSPs and resellers together under a single, more adaptable framework designed for today’s hybrid routes to market.
At the heart of the refresh is a unified, fit-for-purpose model that lowers friction and opens new pathways for growth through BarracudaONE.
A streamlined tiering structure now extends core benefits to all partners, complemented by tailored “boost” incentives aligned to how each partner goes to market — a move aimed at unlocking greater value without adding complexity.
Barracuda has also reworked its rebate model to deliver more predictable profitability, while investing in skills development through an updated certification pathway and the new Mastery Program, designed to deepen technical capability and sharpen differentiation in an increasingly competitive landscape.
Supporting the shift is a new AI-powered partner portal that brings together onboarding, deal registration and performance insights into a single, data-driven experience.
With personalised learning, simplified marketing fund tracking and easier access to co-branded assets, the platform is built to help partners move faster and operate more efficiently — with AI-driven marketing automation capabilities set to further scale their reach in the near future.
Dedicated Partner Success teams and enhanced support offerings, due to roll out in the coming months, are expected to further strengthen engagement and help partners translate capability into customer outcomes.
BarracudaONE’s Market Response
“BarracudaONE’s expanded platform and the enhancements to the Partner Success Program give us exactly what we need to stay ahead of fast‑moving threats,” said Steven Carey, Director, Product Management at Connection.
“The unified approach across email, access and AI security helps us deliver stronger outcomes with less operational overhead, and the refreshed incentives and support structure make it easier to grow profitably and sustainably alongside Barracuda,” said Carey
“Barracuda continues to demonstrate what a true partner‑first model looks like,” said Lawrence Troemel, Managing Partner and President at NobleTec LLC.
“The modernisation of its partner program reflects a deep understanding of how today’s MSPs operate. The new tiering model and AI‑enabled partner portal give our teams clearer pathways to differentiate, accelerate service delivery and drive measurable customer value,” Troemel said
“For us, BarracudaONE means no more manual screenshots or time‑consuming exports just to show the value we’re delivering.”
“Using the BarracudaONE API, we have reporting that gives us clear, consolidated visibility across our environment,” he said.
“Having direct access to the data allows us to tailor reports to what the business and our clients actually care about, automate updates and surface insights far faster than with manual processes,” said Michael Feldbauer, Managing Director at Territory Technology Solutions.
“Through BarracudaONE we can clearly show what threats have been blocked, which users are being targeted most, how many emails are archived, whether backups have completed successfully, what data is protected, and the overall health of the solutions customers have purchased,” said Feldbauer.
Just as importantly, we can deliver this reporting on demand, or at a cadence that works for both our team and our clients, whether that’s daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly.” he said.
The updates arrive as MSP reliance surges, with 73% of organisations — rising to 85% among mid-sized enterprises — now turning to managed providers for security, positioning Barracuda’s expanded incentives, tools and unified program as a timely push to accelerate partner growth and profitability.
