ATEN International has introduced the industry’s first 5K Universal Secure KVM Switches certified to NIAP PSD PP v4.0, purpose-built for IT environments that require strict separation between internal, external and segmented networks.

“ATEN PSD PP v4.0 Universal Secure KVM Switch Series sets a new benchmark in secure connectivity by combining uncompromising data protection with superior 5K visual performance.” said Nicholas Lin, Senior Vice President of ATEN International.

“With PSD PP v4.0-certified protection, secure USB control, and clearer system identification, the new 5K Secure KVM Series makes multi-network workstations easier to deploy, manage and safeguard.

“Its higher-density 5K display also allows more content to be viewed on a single screen, boosting productivity while ensuring organisations can securely switch between sensitive or classified systems with consistent visual clarity and security assurance.”

Designed to resolve long-standing IT challenges such as cross-network mis-switching, USB-borne risks and the operational friction of managing multiple isolated systems, the new series delivers hardware-enforced data isolation and secure peripheral control while improving workspace efficiency.

To support fast, accurate network recognition, operators can configure customisable Port LED colours and port labels, allowing instant visual differentiation between network types.

This reduces switching errors and improves workflow fluency for IT administrators handling multiple classifications or environments.

With DisplayPort / HDMI combo connectivity, the switches support single and dual-display 5K setups, enabling greater information density and enhanced clarity when monitoring multiple systems simultaneously. A more compact chassis also streamlines deployment in crowded IT workstations.

Compliant with NIAP PSD PP v4.0, the series incorporates hardware-based isolation, unidirectional data flow, peripheral and audio filtering, and a tamper-evident design.

IT teams can securely share one keyboard, mouse, monitor, speaker and CAC reader across multiple networks without risk of cross-domain leakage.

Available in 2-port and 4-port models, with CAC and non-CAC options, the ATEN PSD PP v4.0 Universal Secure KVM Series delivers a flexible, high-assurance foundation for modern multi-network IT operations.
