Apex Ledgends records get shatterd breaking the game’s all-time player count on Steam as 510,286 players join in a single session.

Apex Legends just set a new record for concurrent players on Steam with the launch of Season 14.

Despite having dropped since Tuesday, when a total of 510,286 players popped into Apex Legends at one point, it is clear that there is a lot of interest in the current season.

Apex Legends’ impressive player count was recorded by the useful Steam Charts service, which currently indicates that 414,983 players were playing the game on April 25th, the same day that the new Season 13 trailer was released.

According to the Steam numbers, the previous peak was 411,183 players on April 25th. Whatever was causing such a massive influx of players that day, it’s been surpassed now.

Apex Legends has become quite popular among battle royale and first-person shooter enthusiasts, and this new record tells the tale.

It is still possible that the record will be broken this weekend, as players habitually flock to games. This weekend and next could be a major boon for Respawn Entertainment, but there is still a possibility that the next season will be even bigger.

It’s quite good for a game that’s been out long enough to complete 14 seasons, no matter what the reason was for this peak. Players followed it to Steam from EA’s launcher after it became available there, indicating that those players are still interested in new content.

It’s possible that the enticing patch notes for Season 14, which listed buffs for a number of different champions such as Mad Maggie and Newcastle, drew players back in, or that Vantage herself was the draw.
