AMP Announce Kavita Mistry As Its New Chief Technology Officer

AMP today announced Kavita Mistry as new Chief Technology Officer and member of the executive committee taking over CTO Felicia Trewin after revealing she would leave early next year. Prior to Kavita's appointment she was at AustralianSuper, where she held the roles of co-acting-CTO and Head of Enterprise Technology.

AMP has announced Felicia Trewin's replacement Kavita Mistry new chief technology officer and member of the executive committee.

AMP has today announced the appointment of Kavita Mistry as its new Chief Technology Officer and member of the Executive Committe after a rigorous internal selection process following the recent resignation of Felicia Trewin.

Kavita joined AMP in January 2023 to lead Technology across AMP’s wealth business, as well as its digital and enterprise platforms. She has strong technology leadership experience within financial services and a depth of capability in building partnerships and leading high performing teams.

In her time at Australian Super Kavita held the roles of co-acting CTO and Head of Enterprise Technology. Prior to this Kavita was in various senior technology leadership roles at ANZ.  

AMP Chief Executive Alexis George said, “We are delighted with the appointment of Kavita Mistry as Chief Technology Officer. In her 12 months with AMP she has proven herself to be an excellent leader with a depth of capability in leading technology transformation.

“She is well placed to lead the team through this next phase of transformation as part of the Executive Committee,” 
 
“I would like to thank Felicia Trewin, our outgoing CTO, for her focus on creating a unified technology team with a clear path forward. We wish Felicia all the best in her new role and thank her for her work reshaping the technology function and building a depth of talent.” said George.

Kavita Mistry Biography  

Kavita Mistry is an accomplished technology leader with expertise in driving transformational change to deliver strategic and commercial objectives.

Kavita has more than 20 years’ experience across a variety of technology roles specialising in financial services, including superannuation, investments, digital, data, lending, and corporate applications.

Prior to AMP Kavita was at AustralianSuper, where she held the roles of co-acting-CTO and Head of Enterprise Technology where she established and transformed technology capabilities across investments, member experience, cloud infrastructure, employee experience, data, CRM and enterprise technology assets.

Prior to this, Kavita held various senior positions over 14 years at ANZ, including leadership roles within Home and Business lending technology.
