Aussie Broadband has announced a new three-year deal with Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited to provide Enterprise NBN and on-net services to their corporate and regional locations across Australia.

General Manager Sales, Aaron O’Keefe said the deal is a testament to the company’s strong offering in the market.

“We are very excited to be working with Mitsubishi Motors Australia. We believe securing this project has been a major accomplishment for our company.

“Mitsubishi Motors Australia is one of the most recognisable car brands in Australia with a longstanding, and loyal, customer base. Through this partnership, we will deliver business telco services to their corporate and regional sites, including data centres,” Aaron said. “It also gives Mitsubishi Motors Australia access to our high-quality network, award-winning customer service and Australian-based team.”

The deal underpins Aussie Broadband’s strategy to increasingly target the enterprise and business market. According to the company’s latest financial results, Aussie took 15% of all NBN enterprise ethernet service activation orders in the first half of the 21/22 financial year.

Aaron said the deal was secured following a successful trial at one of Mitsubishi Motors Australia’s sites.

“The first service was delivered to Mitsubishi Motors Australia’s national headquarters at Adelaide Airport as part of a trial last year. Following a successful request for quote process, and based on the success of delivering that service, we were awarded the contract. The rest of the sites will be coming online over the next few months,” Aaron said.

Mitsubishi Motors Australia said Aussie Broadband was selected for its ability to understand and deliver on their technical requirements and provide first class products and services.

“We’ve enjoyed working with the Aussie Broadband team on this program – and they’ve gone above and beyond to get things done. They’ve proven themselves to be a strong partner with high standards of service delivery, customer service and products. In particular, we’re really impressed by the Carbon portal, which gives us the flexibility to rapidly provision and scale down bandwidth across our services as needed,” said General Manager – Digital Strategy & Services, Damien Chicco.

Aussie Broadband has built its systems to make it simple and fast for companies, like Mitsubishi Motors Australia, to bring on new sites or upgrade sites as needed.

“Our award-winning Carbon business platform has allowed providers like us outside of the “big 4 telcos” to compete for the business of larger organisations such as Mitsubishi Motors Australia,” said Aaron.

“Carbon is a one-stop shop for everything business and enterprise customers need. It allows customers to manage their full suite of complex telco services across multiple sites – something that is quite unique in the industry,” Aaron said. “This is important for businesses like Mitsubishi Motors Australia that need connections at multiple sites to go live quickly to ensure minimal disruption to customers.”

The company’s Carbon platform now has more than 10,000 active services and this number is growing by the day.

Aussie Broadband has been recognised for its excellent customer service in the Australian Service Excellence Awards (2020 & 2021), the Finder Innovation Award for Best Online Customer Service (2021) and Mozo People’s Choice NBN Award (2019, 2020 & 2021).
