Shoal Joins Lockheed Martin JP9102 team

Complex systems design company Shoal Group has partnered with Lockheed Martin Australia (LMA) to
Project (JP) 9102 with the aim of providing a Next Generation Military Satellite Communications System (MILSATCOM)
for Défense

The JP9102 Australian Défense Satellite Communications System will provide an independent and sovereign system
communications network and an enhanced space control program that will significantly improve the military
capacity. The MILSATCOM sovereign system will tackle the Australian legacy network which is based on SATCOM
provided by international allies and trading companies.

Shoal has experience in many of the largest and most complex defence skills acquisition and maintenance skills
Lockheed Martin Australia’s JP9102 solution is used at every stage of projects the project.

system that addresses the needs of Defence to inform an end-to-end solution. We understand when there is

Early risk mitigation activities have been underway since mid-2020 and have so far included capability
definition, proposal development, systems design, integration management, and supply chain strategy
development.

Along with early-stage systems engineering, Shoal Group will continue to support Lockheed Martin Australia
for JP9102 for solution design, including key design reviews and modeling, simulation, and analysis.
