SecureCo, the leading Australian intelligent voice orchestration technology provider, has today announced the appointment of Tony Simonsen as Chief Revenue Officer.

As SecureCo continues to pivot towards channel sales, in his new role, Simonsen will focus on growing partner relationships both locally and internationally as SecureCo looks to expand its footprint overseas, particularly in the U.S. market.

Simonsen has successfully led multi-national companies both locally and globally, including Cisco, EMC, Equinix Avaya and Polycom. He was most recently the COO of Payapps, a leading SaaS provider in the construction sector.

SecureCo most recently signed Data #3, CVT, Cogent, and Customer Science Group as partners, adding to its growing channel partner ecosystem, which Simonsen will drive and continue to expand.

Founded in 2013, SecureCo is 100% Australian-owned, with its Intelligent Voice Platform (IVP) managing over 85 million voice minutes to world-leading systems integrators, software providers, and enterprises every month.

Its no-code solution helps organisations reduce the complexities of deploying and managing speech technologies to improve customer experiences.

SecureCo’s IVP addresses a number of challenges facing partners today, including the need to remain competitive by adapting quickly in response to digital transformation. SecureCo’s IVP also allows systems integrators to stay relevant by creating service differentiation whilst building operational efficiencies to address shrinking margins and hyper-competitiveness.

SecureCo’s Founder and CEO Paul Bird commented on the appointment: “Tony has had a long and successful career leading international companies and has a depth of experience across all forms of technology and industry services that will be invaluable to our team. His strong leadership skills will support our team to perform at a new level as we enter our next stage of growth.”

Simonsen added,“I’m thrilled to be joining SecureCo at a really pivotal moment. The industry has been ripe for disruption for a long time, and SecureCo’s technology is solving voice orchestration challenges in an innovative way whilst enabling the partner ecosystem to thrive.

“I’m looking forward to working with the brilliant minds at SecureCo to support in driving the growth of the company and each individual team member.”

Simonsen is a founding board director (NED) of Every Little Bit Helps, a charity supporting at-risk and homeless youth, and is also on the advisory board of ADHD Australia.
