NEC Australia has been awarded Australian Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP) in the Fortinet Partner of the Year awards, in recognition of its ability to deliver strong digital and cyber solutions.

The awards recognise the achievements of partners of Fortinet that have helped customers securely accelerate their move beyond traditional networks.

The awards are judged on factors including growth; investment in training, specialisations, and certifications; enhanced innovation and executive engagement; and success in leading customer engagements with Fortinet.

NEC National Portfolio Manager Pankit Mehta said that the strong and trusted partnership with Fortinet continues to deliver digital acceleration and innovative solutions for our customers.

“NEC Australia is proud to be recognised for our intelligent and seamless solutions and services. As the threat landscape continues to evolve, protecting data sovereignty and national security is critical,” Mr Mehta said.

“We are committed to creating safer communities and protecting citizens with our absolute commitment to ethical, human-centred technology design. NEC applies an ethical lens to all technology development and management.

“We are also dedicated to creating solutions that deliver innovative and integrated protection for customers.” he said

Fortinet Channel Director Tim Fitzgerald said that Fortinet was proud to announce the winners of the Australian partner awards and thanked all its partners for their efforts throughout the past year.

He said the awards recognise the exceptional contributions of the partner ecosystem in Australia throughout 2022.

“This includes their dedication and hard work to deliver outstanding outcomes and experiences for customers by helping them remove complexity and achieve consolidation through the convergence of networking and security using an integrated cyber security platform,” said Fitzgerald

“While more people are returning to the office, many businesses continue to embrace hybrid workplace models, managing digital acceleration projects to ensure employees can work from anywhere,”

“Operational complexity is slowing digital initiatives while cyber risk continues to escalate and partners that develop offerings and manage services based on Fortinet technology have a track record of helping customers close security gaps, improve operational efficiency as well as return on investment (ROI), and optimise user experiences,” he said.
