Trintech, a renowned global provider of cloud-based financial close solutions for the Office of Finance, has revealed that Darren Heffernan, the current President & Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer starting from May 1, 2023.
Heffernan will be succeeding Teresa Mackintosh, who has had a remarkable seven-year tenure as the company’s CEO and will now transition to the position of Executive Chair of the Trintech Board of Directors.
With a longstanding history at Trintech since 2001, Heffernan has played integral roles in strategic planning and corporate development. Serving as the CFO and President & COO, he has been instrumental in driving substantial growth, including the expansion of the company’s international business.
.Heffernan’s diverse experience and deep industry knowledge will inform his stewardship of Trintech’s continued focus on the company’s operational excellence and commitment to client service, partnership and growth.
As Executive Chair, Mackintosh will continue to work closely with Heffernan and Trintech’s leadership team to ensure a smooth and successful transition.
She is steadfast in her commitment to advancing Trintech’s position as a leading global SaaS provider for the Office of Finance.
