Certis Australia Welcomes New Chief Executive Brett Pickens

Brett Pickens, with over 20 years of industry experience including roles at Securitas has been appointed new Chief Executive (CEO) of Certis Australia.

Brett Pickens has been appointed as the new Chief Executive of Certis Australia, Australia’s leading outsourced services partner in multi-disciplinary smart security and integrated services. Brett joins Certis with over two decades of industry experience across Australia and most recently with Securitas as the Divisional President Africa, Middle East and Asia Pacific.  

During his tenure, Securitas saw significant transformation and growth across the region. Prior to Securitas, Brett held a number of roles across the industry including:

  • Commercial Director Asia Pacific with ISS, as well as National Strategy
  • Development and Commercial Management roles with Wilson Security and ISS Security across
  • General Management roles in Western Australia and New South Wales.

Paul Chong, Certis President & Group CEO in announcing the appointment. “On behalf of the Certis Group and Board, I am delighted to welcome Brett as our new Chief Executive for Australia. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role and will be a dedicated champion of our purpose – Making our world safer, smarter and better.” 

Speaking about his appointment, Brett said, “I am honored to be appointed the leader of this amazing Company – a company with almost 100 years of heritage in Australia,” 

“Certis is known for its innovation-centric culture and its commitment to delivering exceptional solutions to our clients around the Country,” said Pickens.

“I look forward to continuing to partner closely with the incredibly skilled and talented team at Certis and to continue to lead the transformation of our industry,” 

“As a team, we will continue to develop our service capability, adopt innovative technologies, and surpass our customers’ expectations.” he said.

Brett joins Certis Australia most recently from Securitas where he held the position of Chief Operating Officer AMEA before moving into the Divisional Presidency in 2021.
