The report states that Appian best suits organisations pursuing complex, scaled digital process automation deployments.

“Customers praise Appian’s rapid prototyping and flexible UI development tools that streamline application changes, alongside its data fabric and orchestration capabilities that help with integration challenges like extracting data from SAP.”

Appian also earned recognition for its data fabric that unifies data for AI, its process intelligence capabilities that ensure excellent governance, and its “superior roadmap” for enhancing AI integration, scalability, and developer productivity.

According to the report, “AI agents will drive the next wave of DPA innovation.” For businesses evaluating DPA vendors, that means looking for those that “integrate these new agents with existing DPA strengths” rather than simply demonstrate agent-building capabilities.

“With decades of experience solving complex process challenges, Appian provides the leading platform for digital process automation,” said Sanat Joshi, Executive Vice President, Product & Solutions, Appian.

“Appian helps modernise mission-critical processes and systems with a platform that combines process, data, and AI.” Joshi said.

The recognition underscores Appian’s continued momentum in the digital process automation market and its leadership in delivering AI-powered automation solutions.
